Lithium Battery Protection System for Golf Carts 🔋

Project Description

I developed a system to protect lithium batteries in a Golf Cart by monitoring their voltage within a 0-60V DC range.

If the voltage was optimal, 🟢 a green LED  remained on.

If the voltage dropped below 56V DC, the system activated 🟡 a yellow LED, indicating a medium charge level and triggering a relay to switch the cart into "ralenti mode" as a protective measure

If the voltage approached 48-50V DC, 🔴a red LED turned on, signaling a critically low charge and activating another relay to cut off power, preventing the Golf Cart from operating 🪫

All programming was implemented and tested on an electric bus within the company to ensure proper functionality
